PREVIEW | BEESTON OLD BOYS ASSOCIATION FC VS KIMBERLEY MINERS WELFARE RESERVES
THE RESERVES TRAVEL TO THE BOTTOM SIDE AS THEY AIM FOR THE TOP
UP NEXT, Kimberley Miners Welfare Reserves make a short trip to Beeston, where they take on a pointless Beeston Old Boys side. With the top three separated by a single point, and a further five points to fourth, every match is a must win.
Beeston Old Boys Association FC currently sit rock bottom of division one, losing all but one of their matches so far. The one draw that they did have has been cancelled out by the league, leaving them with no points from eight league matches and being out of all cups.
Kimberley MW Reserves’ last match was a 2-0 home win over fourth placed Meden Vale Colts. First teamer Aaron Coyle, in need of minutes to build up fitness, bagged twice in a 2-0 win for the reserves.
Beeston OB’s last match was a 6-2 away defeat against mid-table Rushcliffe FC. Substitute Wayne Rawluk scored two consolation goals.
LAST TIME AROUND
The two sides last met at the Stag Ground in April in what was Kimberley Reserves’ last match of the season. Two second half goals in two minutes from Daniel Walker and then Taylor Kalinins rounded the season off for Kimberley to take a 2-0 win.
The reverse fixture in November ended the other way around, with Joe Stanway scoring Twice for Beeston.
FINALLY
The boys will be confident of the win, but won't take anything for granted in this crucial match
