Here's a late review of what happened last weekend.
Saturday the 9th of November
On Saturday, the first team made a long trip to the site of their last victory in all competitions as they faced Wisbech Town in the league. In a match that seriously lacked quality from either side, the home side managed to edge it, with a goal midway through the first half to send the miners back home with a 1-0 defeat.
The Reserves hosted Colsterworth Sports & Social FC in what was a tough, top of the table clash. The visitors, yet to taste defeat continued their good run by winning the match by a goal to nil. Kimberley now sit top but have second and third breathing down their necks with enough games in hand to overtake the miners.
Sunday the 3rd of November
Our Empal team had no match at the weekend.
The LESL Team welcomed AFC Mackworth Reserves to The Stag Ground on Sunday. A brace each for Chris Neilson and Josh Hamilton were accompanied by goals from Alex Neilson and Kayden Wilmot-Lowe on his debut to wrap up a straightforward 6-1 win.
The under 18's had their match against Quarrydale postponed
The vets suffered a 3-2 away defeat to Swanwick Pentrich Road. Aaron Hall and Martin Lench grabbed the goals for Kimberley
Lets see what next weekend brings
