This week, it's the turn of the man who keeps all of our teams ticking over and playing football. A man who the club simply could not do without. Club Secretary, Colin Martin.

Hi Colin, Thanks for taking the time to answer a few questions about yourself and how you fit in at the club.

Briefly explain your role at the club
Player registration, Admin to all sides where required but have some great team managers which help reduce my workload. Also the match day secretary for the 1st XI. Then help out where I can.

How long have you been at the club?
Two years in an official role

Your history in football
Youth football at all the local sides, but lived abroad in my early 20's then came back and played with an odd shaped ball instead of a round one.

Club supported
Obviously Kimberley MW but Liverpool due to a family member.

Hobbies and interests
After football has to be my other favourite sports club. Kimberley Institute Cricket Club. Then spending my time with friends which sometimes includes the odd pint.

Favourite food
French cuisine love the style and even like snails.

Bourbon and Coke

Kingdom of Heaven

Band of Brothers

Favourite sport outside of football
Rugby League

Sporting hero
Rob Burrows. Played for one of my rival teams so not my favourite player but his bravery and skill on the field for a player who stature in the game he played was so different to any other. Then to be so brave with everything he lived through motor neurone disease

Five dream party guests.
My Dad - As he's not with me anymore be nice to have some time with him one last time.

This should give you an insight into what happens to someone who gets all our players registered to play, arranges all of our matches and contacts leagues, opposition, referees and much more to ensure our games go ahead. An essential part of the club and a great guy.
